First Love.
Bec has always had a love for music.
She would walk around the house singing when she was young without even realizing it (and still does). This love has caused her to never give up on her dreams. She started singing professionally at the age of 24 — and hasn’t stopped since, devoting her life to music as both an artist and vocal teacher, helping others to make their dreams come true.

Bec Leigh first found her voice after she went through a traumatic break-up in her early twenties. Music and performing became a place of solace which helped her make new friends and start enjoying life again.
At age twenty-four Bec began performing regularly as co-lead vocalist in the Alan Barnes Band, which later led to major performances in numerous bands including Hard Impact, Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio Hits and Shake It Up. During this time, Bec also performed as an opening act for James Reyne on the Adelaide leg of his Australian tour and headlined at the Tunarama in Port Lincoln.
While Bec found joy in performing other artists' songs, she still found herself struggling with lack of confidence in her own original music.
After years of personal development and honing her craft, she felt ready to take that leap of faith and put herself out there. Bec now had more confidence in her songwriting abilities and began writing her own material.
Bec believes that her songwriting can and will be used as a healing tool for not only herself, but others as well.
Bec’s signature style of modern pop ballads cuts straight to the listeners’ heart, painting complex emotional pictures of her life’s genuine experiences, relationships and self growth.
She released her first original singles “Red Flags” & “Christmas Makes Me Cry” to all streaming platforms in 2022, and her 3rd single “Mirage” was released in March of 2023.
With her EP debut on the way, Bec Leigh continues to share her heart through music and hopes to inspire all who listen and that her music can be a healing tool to the world.
In addition to writing, releasing, and performing her own songs, Bec Leigh enjoys teaching young musicians to be empowered, passionate artists, enabling them to share their own love of original music. She teaches voice at Faith Lutheran College, Barossa Music School, and offers private lessons from home. Her students are encouraged to set their voices free and develop the much-needed confidence to be their very best.
